In todays episode of the Busy Mum podcast, I speak with Maya owner of FuelBox Australia. We talk about how her business started and her love of musicals and about her stint in NYC. Let's Dive in!
How do you define yourself and what you do in your business (if you have one) and your family life?
I am a Mum to two children Pernille 10 and Ibsen 7, I am the owner of FuelBox Australia, FuelBox is a tool to help families, couples, friends and business to have more connected face to face conversations.
Describe for us, a day in the life of you. Do you have any tips or life hacks?
After dropping the kids off to school, I usually go and do a training session I like to train about 3 to 4 times a week it keeps me relatively sane. Then I would come home and do work on FuelBox, pack orders organise social media, check email etc. Working at home means I always find some cleaning or washing to be done. Then is off to pick the kids up and then most afternoons I am a taxi to the many activities my kids do, dancing, soccer etc.
What was the best advice you have received?
To do what you are passionate about follow your dreams, anything is possible!
Where do you go to get your entertainment? E.g. Netflix, Books, Podcasts, YouTube, and what are your fave’s.
Netflix, definitely love a great series, Outlander is one of my faves.
What is your go to dinner!
I have few that the kids love Spaghetti Bolognese and Tacos
What one area of your life would you like to improve?
To be more grateful, its something I am really try to focus on especially when things don’t go to plan.

What’s one piece of advice you would give your pre baby self
Do what is best for you not what every one tells you to do
What’s the most useful / useless baby item you have?
I loved my Gro-egg as I was obsessed with what temperature the babies room was and what they should be wearing.
