Ep. 08 2019 - Tony - The Word Press Guy
In todays episode of the busy mum / dad podcast, I speak Tony who is the first dad on the podcast who is known as the Wordpress guy. If you have a question about wordpress, then tune in!
How do you define yourself and what you do in your business (if you have one) and your family life?
I'm a WordPress developer who over the last 10 year has also helped raise 2 beautiful boys that I am very present for and have structured my workalike around them more than chasing raging success.
Describe for us, a day in the life of you. Do you have any tips or life hacks?
Up early for a 30 min walk and 2 basic exercises which start my brain off to a really primed state. I will then either go into Dad mode and drive to my ex wife's house get my boys ready for Preschool / School and do grocery shopping and school pickup and prepare dinner etc. Or I work from my place and for on websites, admin etc until the early evening.
What was the best advice you have received?
You're worth more, stop undercharging.
Where do you go to get your entertainment? E.g. Netflix, Books, Podcasts, YouTube, and what are your fave’s.
What is your go to dinner!
What one area of your life would you like to improve?
Better strategic planning for building my business to be more self sufficient and be about to outsource more to sub contractors
What’s your greatest fear and how do you deal with it?
Losing focus as I have an ADD style brain. I deal with it through exercise, sleep and good systems to keep me on track
What website have you signed up to that you actually find value in receiving their emails
None actually come to mind.
What’s one piece of advice you would give your pre baby self
Enjoy it as you are going to love these boys so much.
What’s the most useful / useless baby item you have?
Baby bath seat. Never found it any better than just holding the baby.

LOVE MY PODCAST?
Okay, busy mum! Let’s get real, I mean really real real (is that to many reals). I would lurve to get this podcast out there (in podcast land) so that other business mums can learn from these conversations. As you know, I am on iTunes and I would be forever grateful to get a review on iTunes and the more reviews I receive the more likely iTunes will reward this podcast with a better reach. Here is the iTunes link to help me with a review
